Pilgrim Bandits Kilimanjaro Climb

In February we organised and led a team including four amputee servicemen on Kilimanjaro, to raise funds for the Forces charity Pilgrim Bandits. The amputees were supported by 25 hardy fundraisers including charity Patron and Dragon’s Den star Duncan Bannatyne who donated £10,000 after reaching the summit. Miss Commonwealth International Hayley Mac also made the top, and so too did an original Olympic torch carried by patron John Sandford Hart.

For more information and photos from the trip, see our Blog Post about it: http://rjseven.wordpress.com/2012/03/12/pilgrim-bandits-amputees-on-kilimanjaro/
